David Secker says, “May 1915 Hubert Crawford married Mary Preedy daughter of Canon Preedy, Saltash, Cornwall. Mary died six months later after a short illness. She is buried in Lutton cemetery – a processional cross still in the church commemorates her.”
Below are Mary’s obituary and the register showing her death – with first evidential support of the Reverend J. Dixon-Spain, who stood in for HCDS while he mourned her.
